The Grid, Lines, Point, Name, and LRCF check-boxes are used to specify what type of information is to be drawn on the lineplot. Any combination of these options may be selected. You can even select none of these options, although the lineplot will be pretty boring.
The Grid option draws a helpful scaled grid on the lineplot. The Lines option indicates to CavePlot whether or not survey lines will be drawn on the lineplot. The Point option indicates whether or not survey stations will be drawn. The survey stations can be represented by any of 50 different point patterns. The default pattern is little x's. The Name option specifies whether or not Station Names should be printed on the lineplot. The LRCF option specifies whether or not left/right/ceiling/floor data will be drawn, as shaded solids. LRCF data will not be drawn for stations that have no LRCF data, or for sections that are “Dim”. Using the LRCF option requires a lot more time than the other options. For large surveys, leave this option OFF, if you want speed, and if you really don’t care about LRCF data. You can always turn the option back ON later.
